The initial Invisalign visit to our practice involves determining your candidacy through a series of digital scans and examinations. If we deem you’re an ideal candidate, we can discuss the financial obligation and take moulds of your mouth to send to the Invisalign lab.
Then, you’ll return to our practice in two weeks when we receive your information back. You’ll be able to come in and see a digital recording of your actual smile moving throughout the process of your treatment-meaning you can see what your new smile will look like before your care plan ever begins.
If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll proceed with ordering your trays. Two weeks later, you’ll return to our practice to get your first few sets-it’s that simple.

You should wear your Invisalign aligners for 22 hours each day. You can remove them when you eat or drink and to brush your teeth each morning and night. Likewise, you should also clean your aligners daily, which you can do the same way that you clean your teeth. If you don’t wear your aligners for this amount of time each day, it could prolong your total treatment time.
Invisalign is not painful, though it’s entirely normal to feel like your trays are “tight” or to feel a bit of pressure when wearing a new set of trays for the first few days. After, this should subside. If you ever feel that your trays are uncomfortable, please let us know.
Generally, a course of care will last anywhere from six months to two years. This depends on the severity of your misalignment and unique goals. We’ll be able to let you know an exact time frame at your second visit before ever beginning care.
