Following your oral surgery, you will walk away with an implant and allow your body to heal and accept the dental implant like a normal tooth. It can take a few months for the mouth to fully accept the dental implant and have the jaw heal around it. You may have regular checkup appointments to ensure it is healing as it should be.
The final stage is coming in after a few months to have your crown or bridge placed over the implant. This occurs once the jawbone completely recovers after a few months. You will have full functionality just like a normal tooth and a restored smile.
